YOU ARE INVITED TO COME ON OUT TO THE FARM AND HELP US CELEBRATE THE HARVEST
annual Fall Harvest Festival is one of the highlights of the fall on our
farm and we love to share it with others! Fresh off of our latest
venture this last weekend we were inundated with requests and comments
about wanting more of the festival--unfortunately we are only able to
accomodate so many peoples schedules because it only lasts ONE day.
Well this year we have heard your feedback and are trying something
new....this weekend September 30th from Noon-6 PM we are having what we
are calling the Fall Harvest Festival Reboot-think modified festival.
We will not have all of the offerings of the normal Fall Festival (we
will be minus some games and prizes) but we WILL still have a lot
available with hayrides, pedal tractors, pumpkin zorbs, leaf pool, food,
and much more. Since this is going to be a bit scaled back there will
be LIMITED AVAILABILITY for tickets. We are first offering them as
presales online and then, if we don't reach our limit, tickets will be
available at the door. So if you didn't get enough the first time around
or missed it all together come join us in celebrating the harvest and
this beautiful fall!!! See you soon:)
Peak Farm's Fall Harvest Festival began in 2005 when members of the Pyrah
family decided that they wanted to share the bounty that their U-Pick farm had
experienced that year and a bit of who they were with the community. The Pyrah's
knew that the families they created the festival for didn't want to spend a lot
of money to have a good time, but they were aching for a positive experience
for their broods. It was a small but quaint affair - about 200 people came with
their families to take hayrides and play Ag-themed children's games while
enjoying the crisp, fall air and some good food.
Since then, the Fall Harvest Festival has become a staple in the community and the
premier ag-themed event in the state. The festival is a time to
celebrate with and gather the community as well as the harvest; it gives everyone
a chance to enjoy themselves in a clean (not from the dirt though), family-friendly, positive outlet.
